Micro III for Compressor Sequencing

Maintains stable refrigeration plant operation by providing automatic starting, stopping, and capacity control of microprocessor controlled screw, reciprocating, and rotary vane compressors. Compressors are sequenced through serial communications over FES’ high speed ComMENT network, as configured by the operator.

Features:

• Sequence up to 32 compressors

• Compressors assignable to any of 4 suction levels

• User configurable compressor operation for each step of the sequence

• Temperature or pressure control selectable for each level

• Factory configurable pressure and temperature ranges

• Controls screw, reciprocating, or rotary vane compressors that support a ComMENT network interface

Benefits:

• Minimize horsepower consumption at partial plant load

• Minimal installation costs using a single twisted pair cable from sequencer to compressors

• No PC or PLC required for operation or setup

• Easy addition to existing compressor installation

• Future compressors easily added via the ComMENT network

• Convenient mounting location remote from compressors

• Both sequencing and compressor information accessible on local display

• Direct wired pressure and temperature sensors provide accurate and up-to-date readings

• Independent operation unaffected by compressor panel failure or status

• Operating setpoints and compressor sequence parameters are entered "on-line" through the local keypad

• Predictable operation as defined by the operator

• High speed network ensures that compressors receive commands immediately
